George Lawrence

George Lawrence was Steve Martin's editor at United World News in America, who he stayed in frequent contact with during his time in Tokyo, Japan. Steve recorded most of Godzilla's attack on Tokyo for George, but since Godzilla later destroyed the building that Steve was in, it is unknown if George got the tape.

Note that like Steve Martin, George only exists in the Americanized version of the original Godzilla. The character does not exist in the original Japanese version of the film.
