Biography
Virginia Hex was a female human born in the modern age as the daughter of Stella Hex and Jack Duckett where she was a descendant of Jonah Hex. (Jinny Hex Special v1 #1)
She then drove into the big city of Metropolis in order to meet someone to find out about the origins of all the items should stored in her van. Jinny was the pulled over by a Metropolis Police Department officer when they were interrupted by a dimensional portal opening above the city. This saw invaders from Gemworld attacking with Jinny witnessing one of the Robin's on the scene to fight them. Jinny came to work alongside him in fighting off the attackers where they were joined by Impulse and Wonder Girl Cassie Sandsmark along with the mysterious Teen Lantern. For added firepower, Jinny went to her truck to take a highly advanced gun that she used against the Gemworld attackers. (Young Justice v3 #1)

Her mother was said to love making terrible jokes which even said when she was dying from ovarian cancer. (Jinny Hex Special v1 #1)
Jinny's father was a man named Jack Duckett who in reality was centuries old after an encounter with the Godseye. In that time, he tried to claim it from Jonah Hex but was left for dead but exposure to the relic allowed him to live a long life. Duckett looked for the Godseye again and found Jonah's descendant Stella Hex and made her fall in love with him but abandoned her when she seemingly did not know anything about the relic. The short romance between the pair led to the birth of Jinny Hex though Jack showed little interest in his daughter. (Jinny Hex Special v1 #1)
