The Quasielemental Plane of Ash is one of the Quasielemental Planes, formed where the Elemental Plane of Fire meshes with the Negative Energy Plane. The Quasielemental Plane of Ash is a sea of cooling ash that drains heat. Vecna had his fortress, Citadel Cavitius, here, before it was drawn to Ravenloft. Other notables settlements are the Doomguard's Crumbling Citadel and the Citadel of Former Flame.
