Biography
Origin
All-Mother
Despite their weapons, the Asgardians were unable to repel the tide of King Loki's forces. As a result, Freyja sacrificed her life in order to slay the Midgard Serpent. After her death, the enemies of Asgard assembled for the final battle with All-Father Odin sounding Gjallerhorn to bring forth the Ragnarok. (Loki: Agent of Asgard v1 #15)

- Frigga (also called Freyja) was created by Stan Lee, Robert Bernstein and Joe Sinnott where she made her first appearance in Journey into Mystery v1 #92 (May 1963).
- The character was based on the Norse mythological goddess Frigg.
