Biography
Kondrati Topolov
was a foe of the Hulk and a Russian operative, son of the mutant Gargoyle. He was a technological genius, and created the Titanium Man suit of armor.
Years ago, he was placed in charge of a facility in Siberia that had captured Major Glenn Talbot. To interrogate him, Department X dispatched the Winter Soldier to aid Topolov but Talbot came to remind Barnes about his true self. This resulted in Bucky turning against the Soviets allowing for Talbot to escape but he was captured by the Gremlin who had the Winter Soldier's mind wiped to restore him to his earlier state as a loyal soldier.
