Digidestined

The Digidestined are a group that feature in Digimon.

History

The DigiDestined (Japanese: 選ばれし子供, Hepburn: Erabareshi Kodomo?, lit. "Chosen Child") were the children selected for saving the Digital World and the "real world." They had digivices and crests.

The first group of Digidestined and their Digimon were:

• Taichi (Crest of Courage) and Koromon, Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon and WarGreymon
• Yamato (Crest of Friendship) and Tsunomon, Gabumon, Garurumon, WereGarurumon and MetalGarurumon
• Sora (Crest of Love) and Pyocomon, Biyomon, Birdramon, Garudamon and Phoenixmon
• Koshiro (Crest of Knowledge) and Motimon, Tentomon, Kabuterimon, MegaKabuterimon and HerculesKabuterimon
• Joe (Crest of Reliability) and Pukamon, Gomamon, Ikkakumon, Zudomon and MarineAngemon
• Mimi (Crest of Sincerity) and Tanemon, Palmon, Togemon, Lillymon and Rosemon
• Takeru (Crest of Hope) and Tokomon, Patamon, Angemon, MagnaAngemon and Seraphimon
• Hikari (Crest of Light) and Nyaromon, Salamon, Gatomon, Angewomon and an unknown Mega stage.

Overview

In appearance, the DigiDestined were a group of Tamers (テイマー Teimā?) that possessed a Digivice and had a Digimon with these being chosen children that were tasked with saving the Digital World.

• The DigiDestined were created by Reiko Yoshida and featured in the setting of the Digimon universe.
