Exposition, Mrs.

Mrs. Exposition is the mother of Basil. She came to visit her son while he was on assignment in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Basil introduced her to Austin Powers. Austin had been attacked by a male assassin posing as a woman, and he mistook the "mannish" Mrs. Exposition for such a killer and attacked her, much to Basil's horror. Although Austin eventually realized his mistake and apologized, it was too little, too late.
