Forbidden Zone

The Forbidden Zone was a general term for areas where the radioactive levels were particularly toxic. Most were once major cities, such as San Francisco and New York City, that were blasted in a nuclear war. They are inhabited by mutants and gigantic animals. The Lawgiver declared the area deadly and forbidden, mainly to keep the truth from being known that humans once ruled.
