Hands of Armageddon

The Hands of Armageddon were an artifact that featured in Ben 10: Race Against Time.

Background

The Hands of Armageddon were ancient alien artifacts whose origins were unknown except that they had the potential of manipulating temporal rifts. At some unspecified moment in the past, the Hands were used to banish the entire Chronian race into a limbo dimension; all except one of their kind known as Eon who worked to reverse the affects allowing his kind to invade the universe.

He was stopped and imprisoned by the enigmatic Plumbers on Earth where he remained for sometime until his eventual escape. However, at this point, he had grown too old to effectively use the Hands for their required task. In order to use the items, he tricked Ben Tennyson into using the Omnitrix so that he became a younger version of Eon without any time limit thus allowing the Chronian DNA to slowly overwhelm as well as control him. This younger Eon then used the Hands to open the temporal rift beginning the summoning process for the release of the Chronian race which Max Tennyson attempted to stop at the risk of his own life.

However, Gwen Tennyson managed to appeal to the last shreds of Ben within the younger Eon form thus allowing him to reverse the affects of the Hands of Armageddon thus banishing the Chronians back to their prison. At this point, the older original Eon emerges who is knocked by Ben Wildmutt's form into the Hands. This resulted in an explosion that encompassed Eon and the Hands with the artifacts being lost to the universe.
