Heart Virus

The heart virus was a mysterious sickness which afflicted Goku three years after his return from Yardrat. The virus, which was resistant to the healing powers of senzu beans, apparently inflicted increasing damage on the victim's heart. In Trunks' home timeline, Goku died of the heart virus, but he was cured in the main timeline thanks to a medicine provided by the future Bulma.
