Biography
Lyssa Drak was a female inhabitant of the world of Talok IV. (Green Lantern v4 #18)
She was there when Amon Sur came to be inducted into the Yellow Lanterns where he was sent by Arkillo to meet her. Drak was to record his story within the book and told the Ungaran about the means of bringing fear that was achieved by the greatest members of the Sinestro Corps. (Green Lantern v4 #18)
Though the book of Parallax was destroyed, its words came to be embedded within her skin and these led to Drak becoming devoted to Sinestro once more. Through the words, she came to experience prophecies about the future one of which showed many threats to the universe and that only Sinestro was able to stop them. However, by this point, Sinestro had gone into self-imposed exile after believing that his actions had caused the death of his people. In addition, his Yellow Lanterns had come under the leadership of Arkillo who went on a mass recruitment drive to increase their number in order to assemble an army to attack the Green Lantern Corps. However, this led to many ambitious recruits joining their ranks many of whom sought to depose Arkillo and take control of the Corps. During this time, Drak sought out Sinestro where she found him on an isolated world living alone with her attempting to convince him to resume his former position. He refused but Lyssa then revealed that there were Korugarian survivors who were scattered across the cosmos and being preyed upon for being displaced refugees. Thus, she wagered that only he could save them but that he could not do it alone and that he would need an army to help protect them. She then used the words of Parallax embedded on her to recharge his ring as they set forth to the Yellow Lanterns headquarters. (Sinestro v1 #1)
The pair were not killed but instead transported to Qward in the Anti-Matter Universe where she tended to Sinestro's burnt body. (Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps v1 #25)
The defeated Drak and her compatriots were taken by Cruz who wielded their yellow ring to take her to New Korugar after she believed Sinestro to be responsible for the recent attack on Oa. Arriving on the planet, he greeted them where the Korugarian expressed at Drak for being defeated by the human. Lyssa then freed herself and wielded yellow light energy against Jessica where her superior control over fear allowed her to defeat Cruz. The defeated Jessica though was kept as a guest of Sinestro who decided to recruit the human into the Sinestro Corps. (Green Lantern 2021 Annual v6 #1)
Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Lyssa Drak was a beautiful blue-skinned humanoids with long black hair and predatory features such as her sharp teeth. Typically, she was shown as being scantily clad with much of her skin showing and she wore a long black cloak. (Green Lantern v4 #18)
Powers and abilities
Originally, Drak was a non-powered member of her race until she was inducted into the Sinestro Corps where she was provided with a yellow Power Ring. (Green Lantern v4 #18)
One of the chief items in her possession was the Book of Parallax which contained the stories of each member of the Sinestro Corp. (Green Lantern v4 #18)
Though the book was destroyed, its words came to be etched onto her skin and their prophecies were experienced directly by Drak. This allowed her to witness future events and plan for them whereby she was able to see visions of great threats as well as how to counter them. Another effect of the words on her skin was that they could help recharge a yellow Power Ring through contact alone. (Sinestro v1 #1)
As a member of the Sinestro Corps, she was the Keeper of the Book of Parallax. In the Anti-Matter Universe, she used to reside on Qward at the Archive Tower. (Green Lantern v4 #18)

During the villain campaign, the players helped Sinestro in a raid on Oa to release the most dangerous villains kept there by the Green Lantern Corps where they came to free Lyssa Drak from her imprisonment n an emerald-powered cell. Meanwhile, the hero campaign saw superheroes on Oa fighting her as a sub-boss level antagonist where she used yellow light constructs against them.
