Martin Trowbridge

Martin Trowbridge was the brother of Eve Trowbridge. Like his sister he wound up stranded on Count Zaroff's island after their ship sank. Unlike Eve however, he had no suspicions about Zaroff whatsoever; an alcoholic, Martin seemed more content to simply take advantage of the Count's copious stock of wine and liquor. His fate was sealed when one night, the same night that Robert Rainsford arrived, Zaroff invited Martin to see his private trophy room. Afterward, Martin fled into the jungle but was hunted down and killed by Zaroff.
