Massimo Pacoli

Prof. Massimo Pacoli was an Italian scientist researching an ancient temple in Egypt in 1914. There, he and his assistant Billy Masterson discovered an ancient legend about a supreme evil and how five elements could be arranged to combat it. Not long after, a group of aliens arrived and one of them rendered Pacoli unconscious although Billy assumed the aliens had killed him. What happened to Pacoli after this is unknown.
Comments
- Although Billy insists the Mondoshawans killed Pacoli, he was apparently merely rendered asleep and Billy merely jumped to the conclusion that he was dead. Both the script and novelization support this interpretation.
