Master (Marvel)
The Master, who usually calls himself the Master of the World, was once a primitive human. 40,000 years ago, he was captured by the colony ship of an alien race known as the Plodex, examined, and integrated into the ship's systems. After some time, he was able to assert his independent will and took over the ship. He had learned much of both the human race and the Plodex in his time as part of the computer, and determined that he was best suited to rule the world. He had the ship create a perfect human body for himself, and transferred his mind into it.
Since then he has battled the Canadian superhero team known as Alpha Flight on many occasions. Recently, the Master was slain by Warbird, and his technology was used by the Avengers to help stop Kang's attempt to conquer the planet from Damocles Base.
