Megakat Tower

A three-hundred story building, the Megakat Tower was the most modern office complex in all of Megakat City. At least, according to Mayor Manx. The tower was built for the purpose of bringing foreign investor Mr. Young to house his corporate headquarters there. Before it could even be opened, Dr. Viper seized control of the building with his army of plantimals, as part of his plan to turn the entire city into a swamp. Much to Mayor Manx's dismay, the tower was destroyed in the subsequent battle between Viper and the Swat Kats.

Manx managed to rebuild the tower, once again for the purposes of attracting the business of Mr. Young. But the Mayor's plans were ruined once again, this time thanks to an invading race of alien Ci-Kat-A. The Ci-Kat-A queen laid her eggs in the penthouse of the tower, necessitating the building's destruction by the Enforcers. Although Manx did eventually succeed in bringing Mr. Young's business to the city, it did not involve the Megakat Tower and it is unknown if the Megakat Tower was ever even rebuilt again.

Comments

• The building appears in the unfinished season two episode Turmoil 2: The Revenge, in which it is destroyed by Turmoil using the Mega-Beam.
• The building also appears in Blowout!, the episode script by Lance Falk that eventually became Glenn Leopold's Katastrophe. There, Dark Kat's Fear Train crashed into it at the end, causing it to fall over. When Leopold completely rewrote and retitled the script, he gave the story a different climax, omitting the Megakat Tower entirely.
