Mellifleur

Mellifleur is a lesser power of liches, who received his divinity by accident when his transformation into a lich intercepted a transfer of divine might from a god of evil. That god has sought to get it back ever since; however, the name of that god seems to vary from world to world.

Mellifleur dwells in the realm of Death's Embrace on the level of Gehenna known as Mungoth. He also deals with the Night Hags of the Gray Waste.

Comments

Material from the Forgotten Realms campaign indicates that the demigod Velsharoon is supposed to be identical with Mellifleur. However, there are differences between their origins and situations that suggest otherwise.
