Metreon Cascade

The metreon cascade was a terrible weapon developed by Ma'Bor Jetrel of the Haakonian Order. The weapon not only vaporized anything in its large area of effect, but it also left a cloud of radioactive contaminants and atomized matter behind that rendered the area uninhabitable.

The metreon cascade was used during the Haakonian Order's war with the Talaxians on Talax's moon Rinax, disintegrating 300,000 civilians and afflicting the survivors with metremia. The Talaxians surrendered soon afterwards, but Jetrel was filled with guilt and, years later, unsuccessfully attempted to reverse the Cascade's effects.
