Monkey Master

Monkey Master was the Head Alien's chief minion, built some time after the failure of his Year Zero plan. Monkey Master was quickly frustrated by his lack of elbows, his guns (which only fired monkeys at people), and the fact that he was actually an ape, not a monkey. Nevertheless, he was used to attack SEMME so the Head Alien could steal a Martian spacecraft, only to have his original body destroyed in the process.

Later upgraded to a more poseable form, Monkey Master served as a level-headed second-in-command. When the Head Alien was slain, Monkey Master took over while his boss regenerated within a Martian resurrection chamber. During that time, the Cheese upgraded him further, giving him internal force-field generators that made him a match for SEMME's best fighters. More importantly, his programming was altered, making him a free robot- although he still chose to work for the Head Alien.

However, during the Martians' attack, Monkey Master turned on the Head Alien after he possessed the Cheese, thinking he would likely screw up while using the being's godlike powers. After the Martian attack, Monkey Master struck out on his own, being opposed by Jason Chesterfield's new anti-alien team.
