Biography
Nnamdi was a male inhabitant of Gorilla City where he was the son of its ruler Solovar. After his fathers death, he came to serve as the new ruler of his people where he had the city being rebuilt. This allowed it to become more self-sufficient thus reducing gorilla contact with mankind. (The Flash v2 #194)
Gorilla Grodd came to free himself from Iron Heights Penitentiary located near Keystone City by taking control of several gorillas. Upon gaining his freedom, he made his way to Gorilla City in order to take over his homeland with the Flash in close pursuit. Wally West came to arrive in the city where he met Nnmandi who could sense within the mind of the speedster that he was seeking revenge for Grodd injuring his friend. It was then that they were beset upon by a psychic attack by Grodd with Nnmandi responding by blocking the supervillains telepathic onslaught. This freed the gorillas under his control and the Flash came to battle his foe where he managed to successfully defeat him. Wally West then intended to take Grodd back to Iron Heights for his crimes but Nnmandi did not believe humanity should judge their kind. He decided to imprison Grodd within Gorilla City and assured the Flash that the criminal would never escape. Nnmandi then wiped the location of Gorilla City from Wally's mind and sent him back to Keystone to prevent him from taking Grodd back by force. Afterwards, Nnmandi completed a mural where he used some of Grodd's blood to portray the Flash and was disturbed at the bloodlust he sensed in the hero's mind. (The Flash v2 #194)

Unlike his father, he was more weary of humans and felt that they brought destruction to the world. (The Flash v2 #194)
As ruler of Gorilla City, he was keeper of its peace and its history where he was responsible for writing the mural of its stories. (The Flash v2 #194)
Powers and abilities
He was among the rare few gorilla that had telepathic powers and one that could match Gorilla Grodd. With his abilities, he could sever the telepathic control Grodd had over another mind. (The Flash v2 #194)
