Norah Winters is a female comic character that features in Marvel Comics.



Norah Winters was a blonde haired woman who came to join the Daily Bugle as a reporter when it operated as The Front Line. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #575)

Ben Urich gave her the assignment to cover Osborn whilst he was in prison at the Raft. Whilst investigating, she came to learn that Norman had secretly been removed from the facility with her reporting this to Urich. (Osborn v1 #1)

She was present at the scene when many people in New York suddenly developed powers similar to Spider-Man with Norah looking to report on the event. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #668) By this point, she was noted to had broken up with Randy Robertson. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #670) Norah was in a relationship with Phil Urich by this point where she had covered stories on the new Hobgoblin but once she published the news she decided that he had become old news. Thus, she intended to delve into the secret legacy of Norman Osborn. Whilst at the Bugle, she saw a psychic image of Madame Web that was sending out a warning to Spider-Man of a coming danger. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #695) She was later targeted by a bat-drone from the Hobgoblin but was saved by Max Modell. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #697)

In the aftermath, she moved to the West Coast where she came upon some new job opportunities and came back to New York City with her wanting to catch up with her old friends. Peter Parker invited her to a bowling session with his friends where she met her ex-boyfriend Randy Robertson. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #3) By this point, she had formed an online news service called Threats and Menaces where the manufactured stories online in order to stir interest with her attempting to bring J. Jonah Jameson into the business. Ultimately, he refused as she was trying to do a story about how Spider-Man was a criminal over a sighting of him seemingly stealing from a bank. She intended to publish it online regardless of accuracy with Jameson not taking part as he was now determined that Spider-Man was a hero and attempted to prove his innocence instead. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #38)

She was known to tease and flirt with Peter Parker when the pair worked together. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #575)

She used to be in a bowling league and became a skilled player with her keeping her own bowling ball. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #3)
