The Owl in Daredevil v2 #114.

The Owl is a male comic supervillain who features in Marvel Comics.

Leland Owlsley

Whilst running drugs through Hell's Kitchen, Owl decided to eliminate his competitors in the Libris crime family and ordered a hit against Izzy Libris though this failed. As a result, he was abducted by Mayor Fisk who was angered at his edict of no inter-gang conflict occurring and intended for Owlsley to be sent away until his organization was brought into line. However, Leland refused as he felt Fisk had grown soft and was playing a bigger game which meant he could not be involved in criminal activities in the city. The Owl then killed the guards that abducted him and made his escape where he intended to keep on continuing his activities in defiance of Fisk. (Daredevil v6 #11)
