Biography
Pincher was a member of the GoBot race and was aligned with the Renegade faction that opposed the Guardians for control over GoBotron. Though aligned with the Renegades, his past history was largely unknown with his current form being created as a result of Cy-Kill's assault on GoBotron. Onboard the Roguestar, he had acquired an ally in the Master Renegade that the Guardians had unwittingly awakened when they sought out the Last Engineer. The Master Renegade had created a Transgressor weapon that locked GoBots out of their vehicle mode and paralyzed them. Such a powerful weapon Cy-Kill wanted to deploy against his enemies but the Master Renegade used the weapon's construction as his bargaining position to rule GoBotron. He claimed that it required an exotic crystal that resided in his stronghold on Antares-3 that was guarded by his minions Scorp and Vamp. Thus, he tried to force Cy-Kill into relinquishing GoBotron to him in exchange for the weapon. However, Cy-Kill intended to bypass the Master Renegade and had Doctor Go use the Modifier on one of his Renegades who was transformed into the monstrous Pincher. Pincher's form was intended for use to forge a kinship with the mutant GoBots on Antares-3 and he was deployed to negotiate with them for the crystal.

In appearance, he was shown as among the most gruesome of his kind with an insectoid crab-like form with pincers for hands.
He was noted to have been one ruthless and mean GoBot.
