History

The Pride Troopers (Japanese: プライドトルーパーズ, Hepburn: Puraido Torūpāsu) were a team of heroes that were native to Universe 11 in the Multiverse.

Around 240,686 years ago, a member of the team named Belmod left the Pride Troopers in order to become the God of Destruction of his universe. In time, Belmod came to be very pleased with the valiant efforts of his Pride Troopers as their work of justice sent his heart aflutter. During Belmod's tenure as God of Destruction, he came to be drawn to Jiren's quest for strength. Thus, he continued to keep tabs on the activities of Jiren and the Pride Troopers.

Later on, the Omni-King Grand Zeno came to meet his future counterpart who had travelled to the present where the two decided to entertain themselves by having a multiversal tournament between the different universes. Thus, the Tournament of Power (力ちからの大会たいかい Chikara no Taikai) where the eight strongest from each of the twelve universes were to compete against one another. The losing universes would face the complete erasure of their reality as a result. For the tournament, the Pride Troopers came to represent their own native reality of Universe 11 where they came to recruit Jiren into their ranks as their strongest fighter.

When Team Universe 11 lost in the Tournament of Power, the Pride Troopers were erased with the rest of Universe 11. They were later revived when the erased universes were restored.

Overview

In appearance, the Pride Troopers was a multi-species organization whose core military field roster was composed of diverse alien humanoids, exotic galactic creatures, and unique metaphysical entities. They featured an incredibly irregular, drastically mismatched collective build that ranged from the towering, barrel-chested muscular framework of their field commander Top to the slender, long-eared feline stature of the blitz captain Dyspo. The organization possessed no unified natural physiology, skin coloration, or hair patterns due to the vast array of different cosmic species assembled within their ranking order, with individual members bearing mint-colored epidermal skin, dark pupilless eyes, or completely hairless facial structures. They expanded their visual identity by enforcing a rigid, historically significant uniform standard designed to comfortably stretch and fit a wide variety of distinct biological figures. Their garments consisted of form-fitting, skintight spandex combat jumpsuits finished in a stark, highly recognizable two-tone red and black color scheme. Every individual operative paired this sleek operational uniform with bright white leather-styled combat boots, matching mid-arm white performance gloves, and a completely seamless neckline designed to maximize agile physical movements mid-transit.

Members of the team wore a distinct form-fitting Pride Trooper Uniform that was a red and black skin tight uniform with white gloves and boots.

As a multi-species organization, they naturally lacked any shared, uniform biological traits due to the stark anatomical, genetic, and evolutionary differences between their thousands of distinct alien species. They utilized their collective histories as elite intergalactic law enforcers to execute highly sophisticated, theatrical combat poses, deploy synchronized multi-person tactical blockades, and launch devastating team-based shock assaults that overwhelmed enemy positions. They did not initially possess innate, shared supernatural magic or passive planetary atmospheric shields, relying instead on high-intensity martial arts training, advanced technological communication relays, and the manipulation of their internal spiritual energy. This specialized energy mastery allowed individual officers to manifest a distinct crimson-red aura, project concentrated plasma-based energy blasts like the Justice Flash, and achieve high-velocity controlled flight across vast atmospheric sectors. Their specialized capabilities allowed separate field units to manipulate their personal biological mass to increase their physical weight mid-combat, manifest dense energy-based swords known as Justice Sabers, and generate localized, impenetrable pocket dimensions called the Cocotte Zone Max. Their primary capabilities allowed them to police entire stellar quadrants simultaneously, match the raw power matrices of high-tier universal warriors, and maintain a highly disciplined defense barrier capable of shielding their homeworlds from cosmic catastrophe.

The team seemingly had several bases located across their universe. One among these was located on the Planet Netfiss.

They also had in their possession a spaceship that was responsible for transporting them across space.
