History

The Pride Troopers (Japanese: プライドトルーパーズ, Hepburn: Puraido Torūpāsu) were a team of heroes that were native to Universe 11 in the Multiverse.

Around 240,686 years ago, a member of the team named Belmod left the Pride Troopers in order to become the God of Destruction of his universe. In time, Belmod came to be very pleased with the valiant efforts of his Pride Troopers as their work of justice sent his heart aflutter. During Belmod's tenure as God of Destruction, he came to be drawn to Jiren's quest for strength. Thus, he continued to keep tabs on the activities of Jiren and the Pride Troopers.

Later on, the Omni-King Grand Zeno came to meet his future counterpart who had travelled to the present where the two decided to entertain themselves by having a multiversal tournament between the different universes. Thus, the Tournament of Power (力ちからの大会たいかい Chikara no Taikai) where the eight strongest from each of the twelve universes were to compete against one another. The losing universes would face the complete erasure of their reality as a result. For the tournament, the Pride Troopers came to represent their own native reality of Universe 11 where they came to recruit Jiren into their ranks as their strongest fighter.

When Team Universe 11 lost in the Tournament of Power, the Pride Troopers were erased with the rest of Universe 11. They were later revived when the erased universes were restored.

Overview

In appearance, the Pride Troopers were a team of superpowered beings recruited from all across their respective universe. Originally, they were just a motley crew of people with different ideologies and backgrounds, though they grouped together due to all being on the side of justice. When evil attacks, the Pride Troopers are called out to travel to the planet and eliminate any threats. As such, they served as the guardians of peace within Universe 11.

Members of the team wore a distinct form-fitting Pride Trooper Uniform that was a red and black skin tight uniform with white gloves and boots.

The team seemingly had several bases located across their universe. One among these was located on the Planet Netfiss.

They also had in their possession a spaceship that was responsible for transporting them across space.
