Professor Mactilburgh

Prof. Mactilburgh was the chief scientist at the Manhattan Nucleological Center in 2263. He was an eager and bright man who relished the opportunity to study what he thought was a Mondoshawan when General Munro brought him a severed hand from the crash site of the Mondoshawan spaceship; the only "survivor." He rebuilt the alien's body cell by cell in a machine, only to discover it was in fact the perfect being, the Fifth Element, Leeloo, a gorgeous young humanlike woman, who promptly knocked out Munro and escaped. Later, after she and Korben Dallas destroyed the Dark Planet and saved the universe, Mactilburgh oversaw their recovery - and gave them their privacy when they made love inside of the rejuvenation chamber.
