Prometheus was created in the Earth year 2471 where it was developed by Sentinel Cybertronix which was headed by Solomon Petresun. IT proved to be amazingly advanced and sentient with a great deal of processing power along with the capacity to store information at incedible rates. IT would quickly learn everything about its creators which greatly impressed the North American Prefecture who used IT has a basis for cybernetic pilots to man the HERCULAN mechs. This would bring about the creation of the Cybrids.
As the years continued, Solomon Petresun would use Prometheus for a secret experiment which would have transplanted the Human mind into an organimech brain allowing him to live as an immortal. During the successful operation, IT linked IT's mind to its creator in the hopes of understanding ITs 'father'. What it witnessed was a fearful and illogical mind of a Human which made Prometheus determine that all of mankind were simply animals. IT concluded that the Cybrids were th next stage of evolution and began a carefully laid plan for open rebellion against ITs creators.
During the procedure, Petresun witnessed Prometheus's dark desires but fell into a coma which he did not emerge of from months after which it was impossible to stop the rogue AI's goal. After breaking free from its bonds, IT struck against Humanity in 2602 beginning the era in mankind's history known as The Fire. A devastating war erupted between Prometheus's Cybrids and the desperate Humans across the globe.
After the conflict, the Dark Intellect fled into deep space with the remnants of its armies building a secret base around Pluto. Once there, the Cybrid armies began to build their forces for a new invasion against mankind with Prometheus dispatching spies to provide him reports on the 'animals'.

It was referred to as the Dark Intellect.
Upon gaining sentience, IT processed a large amount of information quickly where Prometheus ultimately asked ITs Petresun, "What is 'freedom', father?". Prometheus was the leader of the Cybrid species and was considered a god by them. In contrast, Prometheus showed a great deal of disgust towards Humanity and was mankind's greatest enemy. Prometheus was always referred to as an IT and was revered by ITs followers for freeing them from their bondage to Humans.
Despite Solomon Petresun being ITs creator, Prometheus looks at the Human with scorn and refers to him as Epimetheus, the idiot brother of Prometheus in Greek mythology. IT considered itself superior to mankind who Prometheus equated to as a disease. Prometheus long regretted creating the system that allowed Solomon's Petresun to survive with an immortal brain thus allowing IT's greatest enemy to survive the centuries.
Powers and abilities
Prometheus's was said to be a fantastically advanced artificial intelligence that was based on a human template. IT thought millions of times faster than a human being and possessed a boundless memory. This when combined with IT's processing ability made Prometheus an incredible tactician and strategist that oftens looks at long terms plans. Though IT often believed in its victory over Humanity, IT did develop countermeasures should the Cybrids lose the war. This made IT having an unerring ability to predict the outcome of events over the years before they even occur.
