Rajeev are entities that feature in ID-0.

History

The Rajeev were the creations of an older much more advanced extraterrestrial civilization who tasked the entities with the removal of Orichalt from the universe.

The rich scientist Kain Arisugawa came to learn of the existence of Rajeev who were called gods of chaos. To combat this threat, he intended to sacrifice 90% of humanity in an effort to combat the wandering planets.

A remnant mass of Rajeev later appeared near the planet Fifth that was a United Planets world holding a population of 100 billion people where it proceeded to consume it.

In an effort to stop Rajeev, Chevalier launched warheads into the wandering planet masses so that they could deploy artificial Orillions to infect the Orichalt cores. Once there, they created a form of virus that infected the Orichalt core where he commanded them to disassemble. Thus, the masses of Rajeev seemingly disintegrated due to the command given to them. However, ID-0 revealed that Rajeev was much more complex of an entity to be destroyed by such a manner and that it adapted to develop countermeasures to combat the Orillion masses. It then conglomerated its various components to form itself into a giant single mass. This saw Addams Forte Chevalier attempting to reach the Orichalt core so that he could Mind Trance directly into it in an attempt to subsume command of Rajeev but the wandering planet destroyed his I-Machine. Despite the destruction of his physical form, a fragment of his consciousness managed to enter into the Rajeev core.

In appearance, the Rajeev were malleable masses that could conglomerate in any shape or form. Typically, they came together in large masses resembling planets that wandered through space as they were attracted to sources of Orichalt. Their appearance made it difficult for some to distinguish them from ordinary planetoids. These entities had complete control over their physical forms allowing them to reshape their bodies into any form. They could harden to appear as rock or form tentacles or generate spikes to spear intruders or form walls from its mass or even break their forms to appear as dust. This gave them incredible versatility as the were able to withstand incredible damage and yet reform their bodies.

In terms of intelligence, the entities demonstrated a single-minded focus in finding Rajeev and ignoring everything else. It was said that they were not dictated to by a simple computer program but were able to adapt to dangers and respond to threats. This could see them respond to viruses designed to damage them and form countermeasures in combating them. They were dictated by their purpose with it being said that Rajeev did not understand the concept of other beings intelligent beyond their creators.

The heart of the planetoids contained a specialised heart of Orichalt that linked Rajeev together. Disruption of this intelligence could see the mass disassembling harmlessly into its consequent parts.
