Biography
Rudolph Conners was a male human who was born in the modern age on Earth.
He came to head a team of superheroes known as the Teen Team which now included Atom Eve, Rex Splode and Dupli-Kate. During one of their patrols, they confronted Mauler Twins who were involved in a fight with a superhero boy who went by the name of Invincible. With the villain defeated, Robot came to be impressed with Invincible and asked him to join but he refused but parted from the group as an ally. (Invincible v1 #2)
After the Guardians of the Globe's destruction, Robot was called to the Pentagon who asked him to head a new incarnation of the superhero team. He accepted then had a try-out to scout for members where he invited Invincible and Atom Eve. Invincible refused as his personal life meant he could not commit to the team. During the trials, Robot came to select his team with this including Dupli-Kate, Shrinking Ray, Monster Girl, Black Samson and Rex Splode. (Invincible v1 #9)
Robot then brought the Mauler Twins to a secret hideout where they met the real Robot. (Invincible v1 #31) He came to hire the two supervillains in using their gestation pod technology to create a younger more healthier clone of himself. This involved a mind transfer into the new body that would be allowed to live the life that had been denied to them for so long. (Invincible v1 #32) The mind transferal was a success and the original Conners asked his clone to allow him to die and to continue their plans for the future. After expiring, the sole surviving Conners then dispatched Robots to apprehend the Mauler Twins in order for them to be taken back into custody. (Invincible v1 #34)
Overview
Personality and attributes
In reality, his true form was that of a small disfigured and misshapen human the size of a large infant. (Invincible v1 #31)
He had long sought a new body so that he could enjoy life and his fortune without being confined to his pod. (Invincible v1 #31)
Powers and abilities
As a result of his birth, his badly misshaped body prevented him from being able to enjoy life as he was confined to a pod with liquid to sustain him. He claimed that exposure to air was enough to burn his skin and health complications meant that he was a prisoner in his own body. This necessitated in him operating from his pod whilst he remotely piloted his Robots that acted on his behalf. (Invincible v1 #31)
Though he had an incredible mind, he lacked the knowledge to create a clone of himself which was why he enlisted experts in biological replication. (Invincible v1 #31)
