Biography
Sadurang
At some point, he was noted to had apprenticed himself to Dormammu and became his most favoured student in the art of magic. (Tony Stark: Iron Man v1 #12)
He came to reside in a cave in Jotunheim where his slumber was disturbed by Malekith the Accursed. At the time, the Dark Elf was planning his The War of the Realms and looked for aid in eliminating the Midgardian hero known as Iron Man. Thus, he approached Sadurang claiming that the hero's demise was high reward and a low risk task for the dragon with Iron Man being said to hold a hoard of gold. Such a prospect interested Sadurang who agreed to take on the task but warned Malekith that the Dark Elf would face the dragon's fury if he was betrayed. Salivating for the first time in centuries, he requested the location of this 'golden Avenger'. Arriving on Earth, he took on a human guise as he approached Stark Tower where he looked for the gold owned by Tony Stark. When none of the staff could offer it, Sadurang became impatient and angry where he morphed back into his dragon form. He began attacking Stark Tower leading to numerous confrontations with security leading to James Rhodes fighting in his armored vehicle called the Manticore. Sadurang managed to easily defeat the vehicle and was confronted by Dr. Shapiro who was a scientist in the form of a cat who was operating a cat-like mech-suit. The dragon came to deal with this foe before Iron Man arrived on the scene to battle the dragon. During the fight, Stark revealed that he had frequently fought Fin Fang Foom with this being a name Sadurang recognised. On top of that, Iron Man's allies had arrived to lend their aid against the villainous dragon. Sadurang decided that it was best to retreat and determined he had underestimated the mortal.
