Biography
Bro'Dee Walker was a male inhabitant of the planet Astonia that was located in Space Sector 1. By adulthood, he was noted for being a man of faith who was married to Quanta with his wife bearing him two children namely a son called Jatt and a daughter named Peesh. During this time, their world faced destruction after the system's sun had become unstable with the resultant cataclysm causing panic, rioting and violence among the people with his son Jatt losing faith in their beliefs. Walker determined that the only hope lay in finding the prophecised Messiah and fled his temple with his family after a mob burnt it to the ground. Thus, they made their way to Mount Helious despite the advice from his own father. They made their way past the changing hazardous terrain and rising heat with Bro'Dee's father dying when the bridge they were crossing collapsed. Whilst crossing the river, the ice from the mountain melted from the heat leading to the nearby dam breaking and resulting flood that swept away Walker's wife as well as their daughter both of whom died. This led Bro'Dee with only his son Jatt as they continued their way to the top of the mountain in the hope of seeing God. In the midst of the climb, a hungry Jatt found some fruit to eat but was unaware that the plant was poisonous leading to him dying. Alone, Walker continued the climb to the peak but at the top he found no one waiting for him. A despondent Bro'Dee's faith thus became tested but made his way down the mountain back to civilisation after experiencing a period of reflection as he determined that he must be the Messiah sent to bring the message to the people. Back among the people, he preached for days amongst the riots with people eventually starting to listen to his sermons as they came to embrace the end of their world. However, they saw a miracle as their star suddenly changed and became younger which ended the period of instability that was ravaging Astonia. From the star emerged a blue Power Ring which inducted Bro'Dee Walker into the Blue Lantern Corps that sought to spread hope amongst the cosmos. With his world safe, Saint Walker departed into the universe as the first of the Blue Lanterns. (Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps v1 #1)
He came to sense the presence of Alpha Lantern member Boodikka in Sector 2814 when he went to investigate the scene. Upon arriving, he came to find the Justice League in battle against the monstrous Doomsday where he helped save Starman Mikaal Tomas. Saint Walker came to feel his powers grow from an unknown source and decided the aid the heroes in fighting the creature who proceeded to take their battle to the Justice League Watchtower. (Justice League of America v2 #55) He next joined the superhero team as they dealt with the crisis caused by Eclipso who was seeking to challenge God. (Justice League of America v2 #57)
As New Genesis was falling, Saint Walker came to witness Kyle becoming the White Lantern again and using his powers to banish the Source-Titans. Seeing the wellspring of life being used came to inspire Saint Walker and re-ignited the hope within him. Thus, his ring came to be operational again and he resumed being a Blue Lantern where he used his powers to aid the Green Lanterns in saving the city of the New Gods with Highfather ending his hostility against the Emotional Spectrum users. (Green Lantern Annual v5 #3)
Despite the failure, he was sent to find and rally new Blue Lanterns in the universe with Saint Walker swearing to accomplish this task as he departed Mogo. (Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps v1 #18)

Powers and abilities
Notes
- Saint Walker was created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver where he made his first appearance in Green Lantern v4 #25 (December, 2007).
- In an interview on CBR, Johns commented on the characters creation, "I met a fellow fan at San Diego Comic-Con that came up to me after one of the panels, and we talked for awhile and he said Green Lantern: Rebirth really got him through a dark time, it helped overcome his own fears and his own struggles and he found light on the other side. And so when I was creating the Blue Lanterns and [their power from] hope, I named Saint Walker after him, his last name is Walker. I was really struck by that and am grateful he shared that story with me and very indebted that he would open up like that and tell me that the book helped him through it. It meant a lot to me and I'll never forget it, it's stuck with me even now."
