Scarface is a name shared by two characters from Batman: The Animated Series.

Scarface (I)

Scarface was the nickname of one of the gangsters working for the Boss, who had a jagged scar across his face (hence his nickname). He was knocked unconscious by Renee Montoya after getting a faceful of pink paint from Batman's utility belt while messing with it and later sent to prison along with the rest of the Boss' gang.

Scarface (II)

The second personality of Arnold Wesker, which manifests itself as a ventriloquist dummy resembling a stereotypical 1930s mobster with a scar down the right side of its face and smoking a cigar, and normally seen holding a miniature tommygun (it is not known if the miniature gun is actually capable of firing). Scarface seems to be the dominant personality between himself and the Ventriloquist: unlike the shy and soft-spoken Ventriloquist, who he refers to as "Dummy," Scarface is loud, confrontational, and verbally abusive to both his other personality and their gang members. However, he is also quite intelligent, a real criminal mastermind who was smart enough to continually foil Batman by planning daring and precise robberies, on one occasion pretending to team up with Catwoman only to betray her and let her take the fall while he and the Ventriloquist got away with the loot. Although the dummy of Scarface has been destroyed on two separate occasions - once by friendly fire that was intended for Batman, and a second time when Catwoman dropped a load of lumber onto him - the actual personality lives on inside of Arnold Wesky alongside that of the Ventriloquist, despite the doctors at Arkham Asylum rather prematurely saying that the personality had submerged into Wesker's subconscious.
