Alternate Versions
- In Doll Man v1 #36 (1951), an unrelated version of the Secret Six appeared in the setting of the Quality Comics reality that was designated as Earth X in the Multiverse. They were a team of hooded assassins working in New York City's Chinatown. They had plans to assassinate government officials, beginning with Judge Benton. They were thwarted and brought to justice by Doll Man.
- In Tangent Comics: Secret Six v1 #1 (1997), an alternate version of the Secret Six appeared in the setting of the Tangent Comics reality that was designated as Earth 9 in the Multiverse. They were a heroic group comprised of superhuman individuals that came from all walks of life, from high in public eye to part of the secret organization of Nightwing. Missions after that were either done as a group with all members in the mission or with select members. Sometime in 1997, six heroes were hailed in response to a major threat posed by Doctor Aquadus, a living ocean who also called himself 'Aquaman'. Plastic Man had 'recruited'/kidnapped Spectre for a Nightwing operation, Manhunter was looking for Dr. Aquadus who had worked at the chemical labs at Svitavy and inflicted horrors on her nation, Joker and in another location Atom and Flash found out about Sea Devils washing ashore, and so all met in the undersea labs of Dr. Aquadus. They faced many would-be super villains aside from Dr. Aquadus, being Warlord, Damage, and the Eclipsos. The end result was they stopped the group from succeeding with Dr. Aquadus' plan of destroying the moon and controlling Earth's oceans. Concluding their mission, Atom was impressed by how well the group worked together, and asked that they form a team. Thus these six individuals form a secret bond, dubbing themselves the 'Secret Six'.
