History
The Shaolin Terror Priests were warriors who were tied to K'un-Lun and the Seven Capital Cities of the Heart of Heaven. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #8) These warriors were shown to had operated under the orders of the Yu-Ti. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #10)
At K'un-Lun, the tournament fought among the Seven Capital Cities of Heaven was held where 100 of the finest Shaolin Terror Priests from around the world were gathered for an exhibition match against Fat Cobra. Despite their numbers, the warrior priests were defeated by the Immortal Weapon who heralded the start of the tournament that would decide which of the cities would manifest on Earth. After Daniel Rand disappeared from the tournament, the Yu-Ti decided to dispatch a number of Shaolin Terror Priests through the Randall Gate to Earth in order to forcibly return him to the Heart of Heaven. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #10) Later on, Danny Rand learnt that the Yu-Ti had been using the Randall Gate to influence the normal world. In fact, it was the Yu-Ti's fortune that was the source of the Rand family fortune. The Iron Fist intended to expose the Yu-Ti's before a public court. In response, the Yu-Ti summoned his Terror Priests and tasked them to destroy the Randall Gate in order to hide any evidence of his actions. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #10) The Terror Priests attempted to destroy the gate only to be confronted by Iron Fist and Lei Kung with their fight being witnessed by a servant girl. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #13) They came to face opposition in their assigned goal when the Army of Thunder was unveiled who looked to topple the rule of the reigning Yu-Ti. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #14)
Davos later came to gain the allegiance of the Shaolin Terror Priests as he planned to succeed his father Lei Kung as the new ruler of K'un-Lun. Sparrow came to battle them whilst she sent Pei to escape to Earth. (Iron Fist: The Living Weapon v1 #2) The Terror Priests represented one of the factions that were allied with the One as they converged as Rand Tower in order to claim the reborn dragon Shou-Lou. (Iron Fist: The Living Weapon v1 #9) They came to face opposition from Sparrow, Pei and others that opposed them. (Iron Fist: The Living Weapon v1 #11)
Overview
In appearance, the Shaolin Terror Priests garbed in dark clothing and wore masks where they were armed with a number of melee weapons for use in combat. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #8)
They were said to be the devoted servants of the Yu-Ti of K'un-Lun. (Immortal Iron Fist v1 #10)
