Biography

Vincent Stegron

At some point, he came to learn that S.H.I.E.L.D. were responsible for capturing Moon-Boy from the Savage Land and taking him to the U.S. for study by scientists. This resulted in Devil Dinosaur falling into a depression taht would cause the giant reptile to starve to death after being separated from his life-long companion. The death of such a magnificent creature that was the only member of its kind was intolerable to Stegron and with Ka-Zar unable to do anything about the matter led to him looking to recover Moon-Boy. As a result, he began to attack various sites in the U.S. in search for Moon-Boy with this leading to him battling an Avengers Initiative team that were joined by newcomer hero Reptil. Despite their numbers, they were defeated due to Stegron's use of his powers and he continued his search for Moon-Boy with the trail leading to a S.H.I.E.L.D. research facility in Wyoming. He attacked the facility where he was once again confronted by the Avengers where on this occasion he was defeated but not before revealing the kidnapping of Moon-Boy. Stegron was taken into custody but Reptil freed Moon-Boy who was then returned to the Savage Land to re-join Devil Dinosaur. (Avengers: The Initiative Featuring Reptil v1 #1)
