Superman was the sole survivor of Krypton, who was adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent after being sent to Earth. He recently helped found the Justice League. He holds a particular grudge against Darkseid, who made him turn on humanity by tampering with his mind and has frequently tried to conquer Earth. Superman is eventually the leader of the Justice League Unlimited by Terry McGinnis' time as Batman.
