Biography
Sypha Belnades (Japanese: サイファ・ヴェルナンデス, Hepburn: Sypha Fernandez) was a female member of the Belnades Clan
After escaping, she came to wander the lands until she was near a monastery in Wallachia with her being granted protection by the Church. Sypha would remain there for sometime where she underwent training as a monk with her eventually mastering the elements of fire, ice and lightning by making deal with spirits.
She was a sorceress and vampire hunter who was imprisoned in stone by the Cyclops. After being freed by Trevor Belmont, she assisted him in his battles against Dracula.
An undead duplicate of Sypha was later used against Alucard.

Sypha was an ordinary human who came to learn the mystical arts and became a sorceress. During her study, she came to learn various spells and techniques that she gained by making deals with spirits.

She wielded the Belnades Staff which was also called the Warakiya Staff that was a mystical relic utilized by members of the Belnades Clan for centuries.
