History
The T-X was one of the latest models of Terminators that was created by Skynet during its war against humanity. Similar to previous attempts, it was deployed back into the past in order to eliminate the threat of John Connor. It sent to the year 2003 in order to find and eliminate the leader of the resistance after two failed previous missions. However, by this point, Connor's location was unknown as he was living off the grid and unable to be tracked. Thus, the T-X was programmed to terminate 21 targets that were part of Connors future resistance network with this including his future wife Kate Brewster.
Overview
In appearance, the T-X shared the feature of being a humanoid entity similar to other Terminator models. They were built with an endoskeletal frame that was covered in a polymimetic allow that was able to take the form of anything it touched similar to the T-1000. This allowed it to take the shape of any humanoid with ease and thus had no need for being encased in living flesh. This material was susceptible to immensely strong magnetic forces such as those from a cyclic particle accelerator that could pull the polymimetic material from its skin.
Model T-X were equipped with advanced sensor packages to aid in human identification and termination. These include infrared systems used to pick up heat signatures,, facial recognition, and retina scanning systems. The T-X was also capable of analyzing DNA by sampling a small quantity of its targets blood using sensors housed within its mouth. The Model T-X possesses detailed files, such as make, model, muzzle velocity, weight, length, cartridge size of a weapon, enabling it use of all military and civilian weaponry; and schematic layouts and instructions on use of all recorded modes of transportation. The Model T-X can access database computers wirelessly via phone lines by emitting a series of eleven beep tones, creating an audible connection, using its voice-processing unit. The T-X's internal communications circuitry also allows radio signals to be broadcast on any frequency, and an on-board navigational system automatically merges with Skynet systems in the area, creating a complete map system which can be displayed on the T-X's heads up display.
It contained an internal skeletal battle chassis that contained a number of equipment that was powered by a plasma reactor. They were designed for extreme combat and were armed with on-board weaponry such as plasma-based weaponry. Among these included a built-in plasma cannon located in the right arm. When firing, an electric blue aura forms and intensifies around the weapon as the plasma cannon charges. When fired, a tremendous burst of raw energy was released capable of a great deal of damage.
This contained a built-in supply of advanced nanobots that could be injected into other machines where they infected them and giving the T-X control over them. These nanomachines were even able to take control of the motor functions of more primitive Terminator models. By retracting the mimetic polyalloy skin from the index finger of the right hand, a 1.6 mm diameter titanium alloy drill bit and data transfer probe can emerge from the fingertip. This is then used to drill into the casing of any electronic system, and a narrow blue aura flows through the data transfer probe, transferring a stream of data into the system. In a matter of milliseconds, a T-X can connect with the electronic system and reprogram it, controlling it by direct link or ultra-high frequency contact via a downlink with military communications satellites under Skynet's control. In this way, a T-X can take control of any machine, including such things as electronic locks, automobiles, or even other battle units. If it chooses to take over another battle unit including other Terminators allowing the T-X to corrupt their systems, leaving its CPU intact, but unable to control its other functions, such as mobility.
Other weapons within its arsenal included the; P31 Caustic Shells x231, Finite Rapid Cluster Guns, HDE Predator, .45mm Cascader, Nano-Disrupter (.222mm), Neutralizer (.444), and the IAD-ChemTech flamethrower.
These units were designed to terminate a wide range of targets including other cybernetic organisms thus making them a skilled anti-Terminator machine.
