Biography
Judgement Day
John Connor was the son of Sarah Connor and a time-travelling Kyle Reese where he was born on February 28, 1985. His birth came as the result of a time paradox where he was born in the time after Judgment Day when Skynet and its army of Terminators had taken over the world. In this time, John Connor came to rise to be the leader of the Resistance where he managed to make them into a potent force against the machines. Such was the danger posed by him that Skynet decided to use newly developed time travel technology to send a T-800 Terminator back in time to eliminate him before his birth. Aware of this fact, John Connor had a soldier named Kyle Reese similarly go back in time to protect his mother. However, in reality, it was to ensure the circumstances of his birth as Kyle Reese was supposed to get Sarah Connor pregnant thus allowing for John Connor to be born. Ultimately, Reese's mission was a success though he was killed by the Terminator with the machine being destroyed in the process. Sarah Connor came to give birth to her son and armed with this knowledge of the future came to protect her child as she looked to prepare him for his future role.

By 2018, it was shown that Connor was an older, battle-experienced Resistance soldier where by this point his wife Kate Brewster was pregnant with their child.

After Judgment Day was stopped, it was shown that John and his mother then fled where they went into hiding in Guatemala with them believing that they were safe from Skynet. However, unknown to them, Skynet had sent several additional Terminator units back in time with the intention of eliminating John. One day, one of these T-800 units ambushed John in the midst of a crowd and killed him in front of Sarah. Devoid of purpose, the Terminator would remain in the timeline where its learning intelligence led to it developing a conscience and eventually taking the name Carl. Meanwhile, Sarah Connor embarked on a mission of revenge where she began to target any Terminators that had time-jumped to the present. Unknown to anyone, the death of John Connor resulted in the creation of a new future timeline one that was devoid of Skynet but instead resulted in a new artificial intelligence being developed known as Legion. Similar to its predecessor, it would also wage war against mankind and created armies of Terminators to serve it but was opposed by a charismatic leader named Daniella "Dani" Ramos. To prevent this, it would send a Rev-9 Terminator into the present with the intention of eliminating her in her youth with the Resistance sending one of their fighters to protect her.
Overview
Personality and attributes
As a child, one of his classmates at school was Kate Brewster who somewhat liked him though John's mother would later take him on the run to escape the Terminators. Connor and Brewster would later re-unite prior to Judgment Day where the two survived the nuclear strikes launched by Skynet. The pair would embark on a romantic relationship and later get married where they served together in the Resistance. Kate Brewster was shown to later be pregnant with John Connor's child.
Powers and abilities
One incarnation of him came to be assimilated by a 5000 Terminator thus turning him into a T-3000 man/machine hybrid.
