Biography
Tali'Zorah nar Rayya was a female quarian born on the Migrant Fleet as the daughter of Rael'Zorah. She was born in 2161 aboard the Rayya during the years after her people were exiled from their homeworld of Rannoch by the geth.
She later came to participate in the Pilgrimage that was a rite of passage in which quarians prove their worth to the fleet. In this time, she came to encounter a a damaged geth where she decided to recover its memory core. From it, she came to learn that a rogue Spectre by the name of Saren Arterius was working with the geth where they attacked the first human extrasolar colony of Eden Prime. Upon learning this information, she decided to travel to the Citadel in order to warn the Council. For this, she came into contact with the Shadow Broker who offered to help get her into contact with the appropriate authorities. Unknown to her, the Shadow Broker was in league with Saren and arranged a point so that his men could intercept and eliminate her before she could present her findings to the Citadel Council. Tali was only saved by the intervention of Systems Alliance officer Commander Shepard and his makeshift crew. The quarian then revealed her findings to him from what she recovered from the geth's memory core and later even joined him on the SSV Normandy as they sought to stop Saren in his goal of freeing the Reapers.
Overview
Personality and attributes
After completing her pilgrimage, she joined the crew of the Neema where she took the name Tali'Zorah vas Neema. Upon joining the Normany, she decided to take the name of Tali'Zorah vas Normandy.
As the daughter of Admiral Rael'Zorah, she had an additional pressure placed on her to succeed in life. Her father was also strict and had high expectations and tried to set an example for the rest of the fleet. As a result, her father was noted to had been distant to her which was something that saddened Tali. She had longed for a father who would take the sick-leave time and let his daughter see his face without a helmet in the way but instead would always get orders from him.
Powers and abilities
It was said that she had inherited her father's brilliant mind. She was a skilled technician and engineer that was renowned in the quarian Migrant Fleet. Due to her father, she came to receive some of the best military training available on the fleet
On her boot was strapped a knife that she rarely used.
