Biography

Tiboro

Many years ago, the evil Tiboro came to be worshipped by an earlier tribe of beings in a savage era long before the coming of modern man. In this time, the dreaded one ruled where he used his great might to maintain his dominion over the lands. When that mystic period ended, the civilisation of worshippers vanished as did their master the despotic Tiboro who came to leave behind a relic behind of his power that was the Screaming Idol that remained buried in Peru. (Strange Tales v1 #129)

The Screaming Idol of Tiboro was uncovered during an excavation in Peru where it was brought to North America for study. (Strange Tales v1 #129)

He came to find intruders in his realm with these being some of the cultists of the Sons of Satannish who had been banished to Tiboro's dimension by their master. Once there, he held them captive until Doctor Strange and the Black Knight Dane Whitman arrived at the scene. The two had come to recover the three Sons of Satannish in order to undo a spell that had been cast on Earth. However, Tiboro refused to relinquish his captives leading to a battle between the two heroes. Despite his great power, Tiboro came to be defeated when his wondrous wand was destroyed where he expected to be killed as a result. Doctor Strange though was content to simply take the Sons of Satannish and depart though Tiboro told the Sorcerer Supreme to expect no gratitude from him and that he would get his revenge in the future. (Doctor Strange v1 #178)

Doctor Druid came to use an arcane token of Tiboro to forcibly turn the Spirit of Vengeance Johnny Blaze back to his mortal form. This allowed Druid to easily knock out the Ghost Rider and not deal with his supernaturally empowered strength. (Ghost Rider v2 #36)

Tiboro was among the entities to receive a petition from the Dweller-in-Darkness who was seeking potential allies but the denizen of the Sixth Dimension flatly refused him. (Doctor Strange v2 #35)

The Sixth Dimension later came to receive a trespasser when Miss America America Chavez found herself banished to this realm. Tiboro came to grow to gigantic proportions where he was glad at her arrival as a sacrifice. She came to survive his attacks where she battled the sorcerers hordes of minions whilst being aided by soul fragments from people that had travelled to this dimension for brief periods. (Vengeance v1 #5)
