Time Brigade
The Time Brigade was a time-travelling organization founded in the 35th century, having evolved from the earlier group known as Argos. By the 41st century, their mission is to monitor and maintain the pluridimensional region containing Earth (known as Sector Rhamno). They hold jurisdiction over a span of timelines ranging from the early years of the Solar System to around AD 1,000,000.
The Time Brigade has operative units, such as Hand 28, throughout history, and is secretly commanded by entities known as the Founders. Day-to-day operations are ostensibly managed by Admiral Hagan, but for practical purposes things are under the management of the Thumb.
The Brigade has involved itself in several times and places, including an attempt to prevent the destruction of Mu, a mission surrounding Sodom and Gomorrah, and fighting the Cathedral Wars. Most "recently," the Brigade defeated Wampus, who tried to create an alternate timeline where the Great Mind ruled Earth.
