Biography
Urien (Japanese: ユリアン, Hepburn: Yurian) was a male human who was born to parents that were members of the Secret Society (秘密結社 Himitsu Kessha?). Typically, the secret society kidnapped and brainwashed people to do their bidding but in his parents case they had been long time members of the cult. Both were also candidates for the presidency of the Illuminati where during this time they looked to produce offspring which led to the birth of Urien and his older brother Gill. From birth, he was raised as a potential candidate for the presidency alongside his brother with them being groomed for the role since they were 6 years old. The siblings were later separated from one another by their parents and made to undergo constant genetic modification, training and monitoring. In this time, Urien came to learnt o manipulate ki and harness the elements of the Earth where he merged these qualities together in his aura. He also came to learn the Aegis Reflector that was one of the 66 secret arts in the lore of the Secret Society. However, when he was 22 years old, management had decided to choose Gill as president due to his greater strength and charisma.
Urien was at the Secret Society's laboratory with Dr. Woo where they inspected the G Project's progress. He inspected the creation Eleven as Woo stated that a duplication capability had been implemented to it and that it was with this creation that the strongest warriors can be mass-manufactured. Urien requested to fight Eleven so he could deem its worth. After defeating Eleven, Urien remarked that Eleven was nothing more than a failure with Woo nervously apologizing to him. Despite that, Urien told him to accelerate the program to improve its potential which he agreed as he thought about his own plan.
Then, Urien met up with Gill's secretary, Kolin, who operated under the name Helen, and wanted to know her report. Helen revealed to him about Shadaloo that was being led by M. Bison and his plans for world domination about Operation C.H.A.I.N.S. She also informed him about their plans to restore the corpse of Charlie Nash and that she needed him to provide the empty vessel Eleven in his laboratory. Urien became concerned to her actions and remarking her obsessions to revive 'the mud doll'. Helen would him of Charlie's desire for revenge against Bison and his combat skills will serve their purposes perfectly. Urien knew that the council would be pushed but it has a price to be made to comform to his designs and is not definitely cheap. Helen was impressed to his conducted research was doing well beyond what was agreed from the councils as Urien angrily shuts her up telling her that she should not fail her own concerns behind the council and he agreed to give her the empty vessel that she needs her desire to revive Charlie which she appreciated the offer.
Overview
Personality and attributes
Similar to his brother Gill, Urien dressed like an ancient Greek Olympic athlete, wearing only a white cloth strap, although he is shown lighter-skinned and wearing business attire during the character introduction that precedes every match; his clothes disappear and his skin darkens before beginning his fight.
He had said that his anger would only calm when he had proven himself to be the true emperor. Urien claimed that he would not forgive anyone who tried to oppose me.
He was the inferior brother of Gill and tried to claim the leadership of his organization, the Illuminati. When he finally succeeded, he learned that there was an Emperor outranking him, his brother Gill. Now Urien still longs to overthrow Gill by creating his own army with the G Project. He kidnapped one of the children Chun-Li looks after so she could get back in shape.
Both his parents were said to have been candidates to the presidency of the Secret Society where they were holders of Ph.D(s) in their respective fields. It was noted that his mother was an Olympic level athlete and had a doctorate in Sports Dynamics where she was favorite to become the President.
Powers and abilities
Urien was born human though raised to be a perfect specimen by his parents. From a young age, he was taken away for constant genetic modification and training. Similar to Gill, Urien underwent the same Secret Society physical training program, though his grasp of the more advanced techniques of the program was fairly limited, reflected by his relatively simpler Super Arts compared to the much more advanced ones of his brother. In that time, he came to learn to manipulate ki and combined this with the element of Earth with this manifesting in his aura. While his brother wielded fire and ice, he can wield lightning and make his body metallic. Urien could wield lightning and make his body metallic allowing him to create electrified spheres similar to his brother's projectiles, and can also use similar knee drops, headbutts, and charging tackles, all with the potential to shock opponents.
