Billy Kaplan
He came to be raised by Jeff Kaplan a cardiologist and Rebecca Kaplan a psychologist with him having two younger brothers. (Young Avengers v1 #4)

Afterwards, he came to perform his duties as court wizard and royal consort to Hulkling. During this time, a meeting with the Shi'ar representative saw the Vice-Chancellor offer a honeymoon holiday at Little Chandilar. The pair were accompanied by Hulkling's bodyguard Lauri-Ell when during the vacation they were interrupted by an attack from Symbiotes. The creatures had been dispatched by their master Knull after having infected Kree and Skrull hosts where they were sent to target their emperor. Using his magic, Wiccan was able to hold back the Symbiotes and empowered Hulkling to help free the captive hosts. Working together, they managed to evacuate the planet where everyone was escorted to safety by the Kree/Skrull Alliance. Returning to the capital, Lauri-Ell arranged for Billy to get to spend time alone with his husband Teddy. (King in Black: Wiccan and Hulkling v1 #1)

- Wiccan was created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung where he made his first appearance in Young Avengers v1 #1 (April, 2005).
- Originally, the character debuted as Asgardian in Young Avengers v1 #1 (2005) but this later changed to Wiccan.
Alternate Versions
- In Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme v1 (2017), a possible future version of Wiccan was shown who had become the world’s Sorcerer Supreme.
- In Secret Wars Journal v1 #1 (2015), an alternate version of Wiccan appeared in a Marvel 1602 reality existing on the Battleworld that was designated as Earth-311 in the Multiverse.
- In New Avengers v4 #5 (2016), an alternate version of Wiccan appeared in a future reality that was designated as Earth-16364 in the Multiverse.

- In WandaVision, Billy appeared in the setting of the 2021 live-action television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he was initially portrayed by actor Baylen Bielitz as a five-year old and by actor Julian Hillard as a ten-year old. Billy Maximoff was created by Wanda Maximoff using her chaos magic. After an unnaturally fast pregnancy, he was born shortly after his twin brother Tommy to their parents, Wanda and Vision, in their Westview house. After being checked over by Dr. Stan Nielson, the newborn twins were put to bed as Wanda and Monica Rambeau watched over them. After reminiscing about her own twin brother, Wanda sung them a Sokovian Lullaby to get them to settle. When Geraldine recognized the name 'Pietro', she enquired about Wanda's history with Ultron. Becoming more and more aggravated, Wanda interrogated Geraldine about how she knew Pietro. In response to the adults' confrontation, Maximoff and Tommy started to cry until Wanda used her powers to eject Geraldine from Westview. Maximoff and Tommy calmed down again once Wanda returned to them in their crib. Shortly after Maximoff and Tommy were born, Wanda Maximoff and Vision grew increasingly frustrated as the twins refused to sleep and instead were crying. As Wanda and Vision were attempting to get their newborn children to sleep, Agnes walked into the house. She offered to take care of the babies for them to relieve some of their stress. Eventually, the exhausted parents noticed that the children were quiet, but soon realized they were not in their cribs. They soon realized that the twins’ ages had accelerated and that they had magically grown from newborns to five-year-olds. Later, Maximoff and his brother found a stray dog in their street, and brought him to their kitchen, intending to bathe him so their mother would let them keep him. When Wanda discovered the dog, she warned them that taking care of a dog was a huge responsibility. Vision later walked in as well, and so did Agnes, carrying a doghouse for the new family pet, whom they named Sparky. However, when Vision insisted that the twins were not old enough for a dog, Maximoff and Tommy looked at each other mischievously. They then aged themselves once more, this time to ten-year-olds.
- In Agatha All Along, Billy appeared in the setting of the 2024 live-action television series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he was portrayed by actor Joe Locke.

- In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Billy Maximoff appeared in the setting of the live-action film set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he was portrayed by actor Julian Hilliard. This version was from an alternate Earth where he and his brother were born as the children of Wanda Maximoff. The siblings lived under the care of their loving mother who raised them alone.

- In Marvel Heroes, Wiccan appeared as an Enhanced Costume for Scarlet Witch in the MMORPG where he was voiced by actor Kyle Hebert.
