After Ren failed to acquire Amidamaru from [[Yoh Asakura]], Jun traveled to Funbari Hill and offered to acquire the samurai's spirit for him. Jun anonymously sent tickets to Yoh and his friends for a film festival showcasing Lee Pyron. Afterward, she ambushed them in the street outside the theater and revealed her Jiang Shi to be Pyron himself. In the ensuing fight, Pyron had the upper hand over the integrated Amidamaru and Yoh; however, Yoh was able to endure the attacks because Pyron's awakened feelings weakened his strikes. Jun was flabbergasted by the effect Yoh had on Pyron, but forced the corpse to continue attacking the boy. Once Oyamada Manta gave him Ryu's wooden sword, Yoh destroyed the talisman controlling Pyron. Jun attempted to replace the talisman, but Pyron crushed it and flew into a rage, lashing out at her.

Tao Jun is a female anime and manga character who features in Shaman King.

Biography

Tao Jun (道 潤 Japanese: Tao Jun; Pinyin: Dào Rùn or Dao Run) was a Chinese female daughter of the ancient family of shamans known as the Tao Family. Her father was Tao Yúan (道円, also known as "Tao En"), and her mother was Ran with her being the older sister to her brother Tao Ren. After her fathers death, she and her brother began to live with their uncle who was training Ren to participate in the Shaman Tournament.

After Ren failed to acquire Amidamaru from Yoh Asakura, Jun traveled to Funbari Hill and offered to acquire the samurai's spirit for him. Jun anonymously sent tickets to Yoh and his friends for a film festival showcasing Lee Pyron. Afterward, she ambushed them in the street outside the theater and revealed her Jiang Shi to be Pyron himself. In the ensuing fight, Pyron had the upper hand over the integrated Amidamaru and Yoh; however, Yoh was able to endure the attacks because Pyron's awakened feelings weakened his strikes. Jun was flabbergasted by the effect Yoh had on Pyron, but forced the corpse to continue attacking the boy. Once Oyamada Manta gave him Ryu's wooden sword, Yoh destroyed the talisman controlling Pyron. Jun attempted to replace the talisman, but Pyron crushed it and flew into a rage, lashing out at her.

Jun is seen again when Ren is about to fight Yoh. She pleads with her father to release Ren from the family and allow him to follow his own ways. She explains what she has learned from her father, and that she knows that no matter what Ren does, he would lose.
