The Constrictus was a terrible creature that featured in the cartoon series the Pirates of Dark Water.
History
One Constrictus was captured by the Pirate lord Bloth who kept it on his vessel, the Maelstrom. He used the beast to dispose of captives that had outlived their usefulness. Whenever Bloth wanted to dispose of an enemy or an underling who displeased him, Bloth would throw them into the pit aboard the , where they would quickly be consumed by the beast.
When Ren was poisoned by the sting of a Constrictus, Avagon used a Dreen to heal the wound.
Background
