The First Order was a government that consisted of the surviving remnants of the Galactic Empire following its collapse after the Battle of Endor when Emperor Palpatine was killed on the Death Star.
Overview
Its military followed the structure of its parent namely the Imperial military of the Galactic Empire with Stormtroopers being the staple of their armed forces.
