The Inquisition is an organization that features in Warhammer 40,000.

The Inquisition was a branch within the Imperium of Man tasked with defeating threats to it.

There exists a number of branches within the Inquisition which include:

Factions
The large nature of the organization meant that there were numerous philosophies amongst its many members. Through these philosophies and beliefs were the Inquisitors divided into various factions each of which had different goals compared to their peers. Ultimately, such members were often divided into two categories namely Puritans and Radicals.
