With the Spider-Bot robots, they managed to hack into an inter-dimensional signal that they intended to use to activate a cloning bank through which they could transmit their consciousnesses into new clone bodies elsewhere as a means of escaping their prison. (Superior Octopus v1 #1) Such cloning technology was present in the secret laboratory of Doctor Octopus who had reverse engineered it for his own use to create cloned bodies for himself to escape death. The Web Warriors came to learn of this danger and broke into the lab in an effort to destroy the cloning bank but were opposed by Doctor Octopus who did not believe their warnings and was angry at the intrusion. He claimed that his technology could not be co-opted but he was proven wrong as all the readouts were hacked allowing the Inheritors to be reborn on Earth-616 where they intended to consume more totems to restore themselves to their true strength. (Spider-Geddon v1 #1) Despite the resistance from the Spider-Totems, they were unable to stop the two Inheritors who managed to escape whereupon Jennix established a base at a former New U facility in order to make use of the Jackal's technology to clone the rest of their family. Thus, the Inheritors had escaped their imprisonment and sought to resurrect their father Solus. (Spider-Geddon v1 #2)
