Once completed, all candidates were gathered and called forth by number whereby a captain could express interest in having a person in their squad. Multiple captains could select a candidate and it was the recruit that decided which squad they wanted to be accepted in by the end. History
The Order of the Magic Knights 「魔法騎士団 Mahō Kishi-dan」were an organization of magic users who served as protectors of the Clover Kingdom.

Members of the Magic Knights were divided into nine different squads each of whom were led by one of their own that held the title of captain「団長 danchō」 of the squad. The different squads possessed their own insignia that corresponded with their name and wore distinctive signature robes that helped differentiate the various squads from one another.
