Biography
Narya was a female demigod who was born as the daughter of the goddess Nelvana and a mortal human named Richard Lawrence Easton. Her origins were tied to fifteen years ago when the imprisoned Northern Gods came to sense that their ancient enemies the Great Beasts would be freed from their imprisonment and come to the Earth. Thus, her and her father Hodiak sought to prevent their return by creating a champion. To that end, they briefly manifested before Richard Easton where Nelvanna's form changed to a beautiful young maiden to mate with the human. Powers and abilities
She was regarded as a transmorph allowing her to assume any shape at will. (Alpha Flight v1 #7)
Another ability she had given to her to aid her was the power to compel others to aid her even if they did not do so willingly. Thus, with a simple command, she could use her voice to cause a person to stop in their tracks. (Alpha Flight v1 #24)
Another Great Beast form she could take was Neooqtoq, the Ravager who was considered the deadliest of their number that killed both friend or foe alike. (Incredible Hercules v1 #119)
