History
The Starforce were an elite team of superpowered members of the Kree empire that were brought together by the Supreme Intelligence. They were assembled to aid their leader the war between the Kree and the Shi'ar. (Avengers v1 #346)
Though absorbed into the Shi'ar corps, the rise of the nu-elite led to the Kree empires autonomy being restored. The new government then came to brand the Starforce as defectors leading to the group being considered pariahs. As a result, they sought to resettle elsewhere leading to Korath moving to Godthab Omega. (Annihilation: Ronan v1 #1)
